We eventually caught her, not easy because she was quite a good flyer. I am now learning about chickens and planning a chicken coop. Was amazing when the chicken after two weeks suddenly decided to lay a daily egg. Have also been busy learning to knit. Thought I should as a hommage to fibers and wool. This summer in Colorado I visited a store that was selling what was basically wool from the armpits of baby buffalo. Extremely soft and expensive. On the web I now found the most exclusive wool: from the arctic muskox, the Qiviuk (good scrabble word!).
