At the MakerFaire in San Mateo, May 21-22
there was a booth selling colorful garlic graters. I tested the glaze at home with a lead kit (you can buy it at stores selling paint for about $ 6 for 2 test tubes). It tested positive = detected lead. I've contacted the seller and suggest you do the same. Don't rub your food on lead!

Thank you for posting that information. I bought one of those but haven't used it yet. I won't be using it now.
